University Admissions

The Doctorate is the highest university degree that leads to obtaining the title of doctor, it is official and valid throughout the national territory and is recognized throughout the European Higher Education Area.

In order to obtain the doctoral degree, it is necessary to demonstrate the ability to carry out original research, autonomously, with an internationally recognizable level of quality, which must culminate in the writing and defense of the doctoral thesis before a panel of expert doctors in the discipline in which said investigation is framed, which will evaluate and determine its sufficiency.

Doctoral training is structured into programs that offer transversal and specific training corresponding to their field, although the essential activity of the doctoral candidate will be research. The programs contemplate various training activities that the doctoral student must carry out during their stay in the program.
